Coconut jaggery laddoo|Gurer Narkel Naru|Nariyal Gur laddoo|Kobbari laddoo|
Ingredients
- 1¼ tsp ghee
- 2½ cups freshly grated coconut
- 1 cup grated jaggery
- 1 tsp Early Foods dry fruit & seeds powder or any mixed nuts powder
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
Method of Preparation
- In a kadhai, heat ghee for a minute. Add grated coconut
- Roast for 5 minutes till some moisture from the coconut dries up. Do not brown the coconut
- Add grated jaggery and cook till it melts
- Keep mixing to combine everything well. This will take about 5 to 7 minutes
- Continue mixing till it begins to hold shape
- Add dry fruit & seeds powder, cardamom powder to this mixture
- Remove from stove and let it cool for a bit
- When warm, start making ball-sized laddoos
