Diwali is right around the corner!Give this delish coconut jaggery laddoo a try  & we are sure that fond memories of the festival will start flashing in your minds! Time spent with family, cleaning the house, performing puja, lighting of diyas & making rangolis…..you get the gist! The best memories of the festive season apart from family time, are the heavenly aromas that waft from the kitchens of the various sweetmeats & namkeens…………yum!

Method of Preparation

  1. In a kadhai, heat ghee for a minute. Add grated coconut
  2. Roast for 5 minutes till some moisture from the coconut dries up. Do not brown the coconut
  3. Add grated jaggery and cook till it melts
  4. Keep mixing to combine everything well. This will take about 5 to 7 minutes
  5. Continue mixing till it begins to hold shape
  6. Add dry fruit & seeds powder, cardamom powder to this mixture
  7. Remove from stove and let it cool for a bit
  8. When warm, start making ball-sized laddoos

Since it contains coconut, make small batches and store in an airtight container for a week
