Bajra Chila

Try this 10 mins Bajra Chila Recipe and we are sure you will love it and come back for seconds! It is the perfect ‘jhatphat’ comfort food for these chilly winters. Bajra is a powerhouse of nutrients. The rich composition of iron, proteins & minerals in bajra offers various health benefits. Who says healthy has to be boring, right?!



– 1 cup Bajra flour

– 3 tablespoon Yogurt

– ½  tsp Coriander powder

– ¼ tsp Chilli powder (optional)

– Pinch of turmeric powder

– ½ tsp Cumin seeds

– Pinch of asafoetida

– ½ tsp Carrom seeds

– Ginger paste

– ½ cup finely chopped Fenugreek leaves

– Salt as pe taste

– ½ cup finely chopped Spinach leaves

– Water

– Cold pressed oil

– Sesame seeds for garnishing (optional)

Method Of Preparation

1.In a bowl, take all the ingredients together and mix them well.
2.Add water so as to make the batter into pouring consistency, just like dosa batter
3.Heat an iron skillet
4.Add oil
5.Pour one ladle of the batterSprinkle sesame seeds on top
6.Spread oil on the edges.
7.Cook both the sides.
8.Remove and serve with chutney, raita of your choice..
