Sprouted Ragi is rich in calcium and easy to digest. This Sprouted Ragi porridge for babies combines the goodness of ragi & beetroot making it an ideal option to ease constipation issues common in babies.
Age: Appropriate for 7 months and above
We love the use of mild spices in this recipe (pepper, cinnamon) that not only enhances flavour but act as catalysts to support digestion.
INGREDIENTS
– 2 tablespoon Sprouted Ragi Mix (You can use freshly Sprouted Ragi porridge mix for babies from Early Foods)
– ½ tsp Jaggery Powder (Optional)
– 2 cups cold water
– A pinch of black pepper
– ¼ cup beetroot juice
– Pinch of Cinnamon powder
METHOD
1. In a clean stainless steel bowl add sprouted ragi mix, jaggery powder, water, black pepper, beetroot juice and mix them all well
2. Whisk to get a lump free mix.
3. Now cook on medium flame for about 5-8 minutes or until done. Keep Stirring continuously to ensure no lumps are formed.
4. Add a pinch of Cinnamon powder at the end and serve warm.
