Barnyard Millet Dosa – Make crispy dosas with Millets at home, with your own fermented batter. Super easy recipe for your kids and family.
We made these amazingly crispy Barnyard Millet Dosa, Sambhar and Channa Dal Vada for breakfast this weekend.
To make Millet Dosa-
Ingredients:
-Barnyard millet-3 cups
-Urad Dal-1 cup
-Poha or cooked rice-1 handful
Method:
1.Wash, soak all grains for 4 hours.
2.Put them all in a mixer grinder to make a smooth batter. Its takes about 1 minute in a mixer.
3.Pour batter in a big vessel and cover it and leave it for fermentation for 8 hours.
4.The batter doubles and also has so many bubbles.
5.Mix and use it to pour crispy hot dosas on an iron tawa. If you want, add some water to dilute it a little.
