Makhana Banana Porridge – for 6 months and above kids. Another simple ingredient that can be made into baby food easily 🙂
Ingredients:
-1 cup – Lotus seeds or Makhana
-1 tsp – Early Foods Dates Powder or Jaggery
-1/2 a ripe banana
-Water as per requirement
Instructions:
1.Dry roast the lotus seeds in a heavy bottomed pan until it turns crispy. Once the makhana is roasted well, remove it from the pan and switch off the flame.
2.Take a grinder, and grind roasted lotus seeds into a fine powder.
3.Now heat a pan and add grinded lotus seeds, jaggery/dates purees. Mix water also as per requirement. Now mix all ingredients well. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
4.Switch off the gas, now mash a banana and mix in porridge. And you are done. A quick, easy, fresh Makhana Banana Porridge recipe that you can feed your little one.
