Almond cookies / Badam Biscuits made without maida and sugar.
These are good for 12+ month or 1 year & above children. A simple homemade biscuit recipe that your kids can eat as finger foods, evening snacks, picnics, tiffin box or school snacks.
Since we use almond flour, it is pretty heavy if you eat just one of them too. You just need the following ingredients:
- Almonds -2 cup
- Jaggery – 1 cup
- Whole Wheat Flour -1 cup
- Ghee -1/4 cup
Method:
- Start by grinding the almonds in a mixer
- Add the ground almong powder, jaggery , whole wheat flour in a bowl and mix
- Add ghee to this mixture and bring all of it together with the help of a spoon.
- Make a dough that is soft enough for you to start rolling them out in the shape of cookies
- Place these on a baking tray and bake for 1-20 mins in a preheated oven
Once done, remove and have these warm, yummy almond cookies at the earliest! :p
FYI: These are high in demand cookies and finish off quickly
